Jack McFarland has practiced law for 11 years and focuses on family law, including divorce, custody, child support, third-party visitation, and domestic abuse matters. Jack works hard to help his clients reach amicable, workable resolutions in their cases and believes that the most successful outcomes are those dictated by the parties themselves. However, he also has significant experience in trial work and is a . He is well-versed in all manner of financial and child-related issues, including spousal maintenance, real property, investment accounts, retirement accounts, and business ownership. He has worked with LGTBTQIA clients and understands the unique legal issues such relationships present.
Jack graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School and attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate education. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and the Minnesota Lavender Bar Association. When not working, Jack enjoys spending time with his dog, Nelly, cooking, and supporting MNUFC, Lynx, Timberwolves, Wild, Vikings, Twins, Aurora, and the Kansas Jayhawks.
